Today was a day to remember at Ryan Elementary as we celebrated two incredible milestones. Our Kindergarten and 5th grade Bobcats crossed the stage during their end-of-year ceremonies filled with smiles, cheers, and unforgettable moments. Our Kindergarten graduates lit up the room with pride as they took their first big step toward becoming first graders. Their growth this year has been nothing short of amazing. Our 5th grade students walked proudly across the stage, closing their chapter at Ryan and getting ready for the exciting adventure of middle school. Their hard work, leadership, and determination have made a lasting mark on our campus. We are so proud of their achievements, from academic success to personal growth, and today we celebrated every bit of it. Thank you to our wonderful families, teachers, and staff for your constant support and for helping make this day so special for our students. Congratulations to our Kindergarten and 5th grade Bobcats. Keep shining bright and reaching for the stars. We believe in you and we are cheering you on every step of the way. ⭐🎓📚👏💜

The countdown is on...summer is almost here! Friday, May 23, 2025, marks the last day of school and will be an Early Release Day for all LISD students. It’s been an amazing year, and we can’t wait to send our students off with smiles and summer vibes! Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. Middle school students will be released at 12:30 p.m., and high school students at 12:45 p.m. Please make arrangements to pick up your child on time so everyone can kick off summer break safely and happily. Thank you for a wonderful year! ¡Ya casi llegan las vacaciones! El viernes 23 de mayo de 2025 será el último día de clases y habrá salida temprana para todos los estudiantes de LISD. Ha sido un año increíble y queremos despedir a nuestros estudiantes con muchas sonrisas y espíritu veraniego. We are seeing stars at Ryan...National Math Stars, that is! A huge congratulations to our brilliant Bobcats Julian Gomez, Lucas Gonzalez, and Alan Perez for being nominated as National Math Stars! ⭐️ These math whizzes were selected as the top performers in 2nd and 3rd grade and will now have access to awesome, free resources to grow their Math and STEM skills. Their dedication sets a powerful example for all of us . Showing up every day is the first step to success! 💪📚 To celebrate their achievement, Kendra and Gerardo are enjoying some tasty treats thanks to our friends at Burger King! 🍔👑 But the sweetest reward of all? We’re feeling extra proud at Ryan Elementary. Congratulations to our 13 incredible teachers who earned designations through the Teacher Incentive Allotment at the Recognized, Exemplary, and Master levels. These honors reflect the heart, dedication, and excellence our teachers bring to their classrooms every single day. Ryan had the most TIA-recognized teachers of any elementary campus, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this amazing achievement. CHAMPIONS!! It was a shutout victory for our incredible 2nd grade basketball team as they took home the championship win against the St. Aug Knights! We are so proud of our Bobcats for their teamwork, hustle, and heart. Way to go, champs!!

We were honored to welcome Little Miss Laredo to Mrs. Rodriguez’s PK4 class! She shared a sweet story, brought lots of smiles, and inspired our little Bobcats with her kindness and confidence. Thank you, Little Miss Laredo, for spreading joy and taking the time to visit our students—what a special treat!

Congratulations to Coach Esparza’s 5th Grade Basketball Team! Our Bobcats celebrated their championship win over Trautmann this past Sunday with a well-deserved pizza party! We are so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Way to go, champions!

Today we’re celebrating the lovely ladies who are the heart of our front office. Happy Secretary’s Day to Mrs. Amaro, Ms. Ramos, Mrs. Muñoz, Mrs. Lozano, and Mrs. Teniente. They may wear different hats, but together they make everything flow with kindness, care, and a whole lot of patience.
