🏁 ANOTHER BIG WIN! 🏁 Our esports team had a fantastic showing today against DD Hachar! Our students showed incredible focus and coordination behind the wheel, finishing the race with a final score of 108–32. We are so proud of how well these competitors represented our school. Seeing their practice and teamwork pay off on the track is wonderful! A huge thank you to all the parents and families for cheering them on. It’s great to see our students excelling in such a fun and competitive environment. Next stop: Alma Pierce on Monday, March 30th! 🏆

🎮 RYAN ELEMENTARY TAKES THE WIN! 🎮 Our esports team just leveled up! Today, Ryan Elementary faced off against JC Martin in our second intramural game of the season, and it was a total thriller. In a match that came down to the wire, our students showed incredible teamwork and focus, pulling ahead to finish with a 80-76 victory! 🏆 We are so proud of how our players represented our school today with great skill and sportsmanship. Congratulations to the whole team for keeping the momentum going—onward to game three, happening Wednesday, March 25th! 🚀✨

🍟 No Dinner Plans Tomorrow? Join Us for McTeacher Night! 🍎 Heads up, parents! There will be no after-school tutorials tomorrow because our teachers are heading over to McDonald’s for our big fundraiser night! Instead of staying late in the classroom, our staff will be on-site at McDonald’s to greet students, hand out orders, and help raise money for our school. Come by, skip the cooking, and help us reach our fundraising goal!

These young innovators have spent months researching, creating, and perfecting projects that truly highlight their hard work and creativity. 🏆 VICTORY LANE FOR THE BOBCATS! 🏎️💨 We are so excited to celebrate a momentous occasion for Laredo ISD as our elementary schools officially join the world of Esports! Our Bobcats had a fantastic time today in a friendly intramural Mario Kart 8 Deluxe match against Zachry, finishing with a wonderful score of 113 to 43. While we are proud of the win, we are even more moved by the teamwork and joy our students displayed on the track. A huge thank you to our coach, Mr. Munoz, for preparing the team and to our DLS, Ms. Moreno, for ensuring the games ran smoothly! We can’t wait to keep this momentum going as we look forward to our next match this Monday against JC Martin. 🏎️💨

Laredo ISD Special Education Department hosted the 2026 Special Olympics Texas Area 21 opening ceremony and games at historic Shirley Field. Special education students from Laredo ISD, Jim Hogg County ISD, Webb County Consolidated ISD and Zapata County ISD participated in a variety of events. Each student received a medal for every event they participated in.

Due to TELPAS testing report card collection will take place in the Front Office between the hours of 8:30-11:30 AM and 12:30-3:30 PM Online registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. 🐢 Slow Down: The speed limit in all lanes and parking lots is 5 MPH.
📱 Stay Focused: Cell phone use is NOT allowed while driving on campus.
🅿️ Parking Reminders: Do not block fire hydrants or use handicap spaces without a valid permit.
