The Magnified Exhibit transformed the halls of VMT into a vibrant gallery! Parents, teachers, staff, and students enjoyed viewing an inspiring collection of artwork, photography, videography, and sculpture. Through pencil, camera lens, moving image, and three-dimensional form, our students explored the extraordinary hidden within the ordinary, revealing new ways of seeing the world around us.

✨ As part of their Technical Theater class, Marley Barrón, Melanie Martinez, and Mia Pedraza worked on setting up the ambient lighting for tomorrow’s Magnified exhibit. Under the guidance of Mr. Wolfe, they learned the technical side of lighting design, including how to mix colors to create the teal effect being featured. Their teamwork and creativity are helping bring this showcase to life! 🎭💡

VMT kicked off their 2025-2026 school year with their annual 16 de Septiembre celebration featuring the VMT Ballet Folklórico and VMT's Mariachi Los Herraderos. They performed before a packed house in celebration of our Hispanic heritage and culture. We would like to thank the VMT administration, parents, teachers and staff for their continued support. A special thank you to our Technical Theater students, under the direction of Mr. Wolfe, for their outstanding work with lighting and backstage support.

Laredo’s combined law enforcement officials including Laredo ISD Police Departments, in conjunction with the City of Laredo Police Department, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office, and the Constable’s Office reminded the public about school bus safety, speed limits and the use of electronic devices while driving in school zones. Monday, August 11, is the first day of class for Laredo ISD.
