VMT Dance Company students, under the direction of Ms. Rebecca Carrillo, showcased their first performance of the school year, an impressive display of creativity and talent. The evening featured original student-choreographed pieces and dynamic dance covers across multiple styles, including Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Commercial Dance.
For this showcase, students applied their skills in technique, musicality, strength, and artistic expression to bring their choreography to life.
Special thanks to Mr. Wolfe’s Technical Theater students for their outstanding lighting design and to Mrs. Valdez’s Commercial Photography students for capturing the event through their lenses. This memorable performance was made possible through the incredible support of our staff, administration, and parents.

🎃✨ The VMT Woodwinds delighted audiences this afternoon with their Woodwind Witching Hour Concert, a light-hearted Halloween performance featuring studio chamber groups and the Camerata Winds Ensemble under the direction of Melissa S. Hinojosa.
The program showcased enchanting selections including Gounod’s “March of the Marionette,” Prokofiev’s “Montagues and Capulets,” and Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain.”

The Magnified Exhibit transformed the halls of VMT into a vibrant gallery! Parents, teachers, staff, and students enjoyed viewing an inspiring collection of artwork, photography, videography, and sculpture. ✨ As part of their Technical Theater class, Marley Barrón, Melanie Martinez, and Mia Pedraza worked on setting up the ambient lighting for tomorrow’s Magnified exhibit. Under the guidance of Mr. Wolfe, they learned the technical side of lighting design, including how to mix colors to create the teal effect being featured. Their teamwork and creativity are helping bring this showcase to life! 🎭💡
