Students from the Vidal M. Treviño School of Communications and Fine Arts (VMT) received a hands-on look at professional broadcasting today during an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the KGNS+ television studios.
The visit gave students an up-close perspective on live television production, control room operations, and studio workflows. The highlight of the trip came when VMT student Josue stepped in front of the camera to guest co-host a special episode of HOLA! alongside show hosts Marcela and Leann.
Josue’s guest appearance provided a real-world platform to showcase the interviewing and communication skills developed through VMT’s media production curriculum.
"Seeing our students step directly into professional studio settings and thrive on air highlights the talent and dedication growing within our programs," Mr. Gonzalez noted following the tour.
