Vidal M. Treviño School of Communications and Fine Arts is excited to welcome Ms. Rebecca Gonzalez into her new role as Interim Principal.
After serving as VMT’s Assistant Principal, Ms. Gonzalez brings a deep understanding of the campus, its students, staff, and the unique academic and artistic opportunities that make VMT special. Her transition into the principalship comes as former VMT Director Mr. Ramos moves on to a new opportunity, leaving behind a strong foundation for the campus community to build upon.
As Interim Principal, Ms. Gonzalez will continue working alongside VMT’s leadership team, teachers, students, and families to ensure that the school remains a place where students feel safe, supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed.
“I am truly honored to serve VMT in this new capacity,” said Ms. Gonzalez. “Our students are incredibly talented, and I look forward to continuing to support their academic growth, artistic passions, and personal success. I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a dedicated staff and an amazing VMT community.”
With her experience and commitment to VMT, Ms. Gonzalez is poised to lead the campus into another successful school year, with a continued focus on student safety, academic excellence, and artistic achievement.
The VMT community looks forward to the year ahead and is confident that Ms. Gonzalez will do an incredible job guiding our Gladiators toward continued success.
