Vidal M. Treviño School of Communication and Fine Arts theater students brought creativity and collaboration to life with a student-directed production of “Dalmatian,” performed in the campus Black Box Theater. The special performance was presented during the school day, giving VMT students the opportunity to experience live theater created entirely by their peers.

The production featured student performers and designers from Drama classes under the direction of Mr. Joe Flores, along with technical support from Technical Theater students led by Mr. Joshua Wolfe. Together, students worked behind the scenes and on stage to develop a cohesive and engaging performance, showcasing their skills in acting, staging, lighting, and production design.

This student-directed project provided valuable hands-on experience, allowing students to take ownership of the creative process while building confidence and teamwork skills. Additional contributions included event design by Alan Garcia and production photography by Gabriella Ramos, helping capture and promote the performance.

The production reflects the strength of VMT’s theater program and the dedication of students who continue to bring the stage to life through their talent and hard work.
