Vidal M. Treviño School of Communication and Fine Arts continues to celebrate outstanding achievements from students at the 63rd Laredo Fair Art Showcase. Students from Mrs. Brooke Berrios’ art classes earned top recognitions across multiple categories, highlighting the strength and creativity of VMT’s visual arts program.

In the Color category, Regina Loa earned Grand Champion and 1st Place, while Antonio Centeno earned 2nd Place. In Black and White, Crystal Perrusquia earned 3rd Place, followed by Reyna Muñoz with 5th Place and Amber Treviño with 6th Place. In Painting, Alma Guerrero earned 5th Place and Juan Covarrubias earned 7th Place. In Mixed Media, Marlene Palomo earned 3rd Place, Mariana Infante earned 5th Place, and Ana Nieto earned 6th Place.

A special recognition goes to Regina Loa for being named High School Grand Champion, one of the highest honors awarded at the showcase. In addition to their placements, several of these student artworks were featured in the event’s auction, further highlighting the quality and craftsmanship of their work.

These accomplishments reflect the dedication, creativity, and effort of VMT students, as well as the guidance and support provided in the classroom. VMT proudly celebrates these artists for their success and for continuing to represent the school with excellence.
