Vidal M. Treviño School of Communication and Fine Arts proudly recognizes the February Artists of the Month for their outstanding dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence across a range of fine arts areas. These students exemplify what it means to be a VMT Gladiator through their hard work, focus, and passion for their craft.
This month’s honorees include Alan Garcia Ramirez in Photography, Carlos Garcia in High Brass, Isabella Gomez in Woodwinds, and David Morales and Carlos Vela in Percussion. Each of these students has shown consistent effort in developing their skills, whether through time spent creating in the studio, rehearsing after school, or preparing for performances and competitions.
Their achievements go beyond talent alone. These students demonstrate perseverance, responsibility, and a willingness to push themselves to improve every day. In classrooms, rehearsal spaces, and on stage, they serve as role models for their peers by maintaining high standards and representing VMT with pride in every setting.
The Artist of the Month recognition highlights not only individual accomplishment, but also the strength of VMT’s fine arts programs, where students are encouraged to grow, collaborate, and pursue excellence. Through their continued dedication, these Gladiators are building the skills and confidence needed to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
VMT celebrates these students for their achievements and looks forward to seeing their continued growth and success in the months ahead.
