VMT is thrilled to announce an outstanding accomplishment at the 63rd Annual L.I.F.E. Art Competition. Senior artist Regina Loa was named High School Grand Champion and also earned 1st Place in the Drawing, Color category, marking an extraordinary achievement in this prestigious local event.
In recognition of her talent and dedication, Regina received a $500 award. Her winning artwork will also be featured in the Silent Auction at the Webb County Pavilion on February 28, 2026, where community members will have the opportunity to view and bid on her piece.
Regina has been mentored by Mrs. Berrios, whose commitment to fostering student creativity continues to make a lasting impact. Through her guidance and encouragement, students are given meaningful opportunities to showcase their artistic talents beyond the classroom and into the community.
“I am so proud of Regina and the dedication she puts into her work,” said Mrs. Berrios. “She pours her heart into every piece she creates, and this recognition is truly well deserved.”
VMT celebrates Regina’s creativity, perseverance, and passion for the arts. Her achievement reflects not only her individual talent but also the strength of the school’s commitment to excellence in fine arts.
Congratulations, Regina. Your VMT family is incredibly proud of you.
