Vidal M. Treviño School of Communications and Fine Arts proudly celebrated Laredo's largely hispanic community with its annual 16 de Septiembre celebration, honoring Mexican Independence Day and the rich cultural heritage of the community.

The event featured a vibrant performance by the VMT Ballet Folklórico and the renowned Mariachi Los Herraderos, who took the stage before a packed audience. Their energetic and heartfelt performances set the tone for a year rooted in tradition, unity, and artistic excellence.

VMT extends its gratitude to the administration, parents, teachers, and staff for their unwavering support in making this celebration possible. A special acknowledgment goes to the Technical Theater students, led by Mr. Wolfe, whose exceptional work in lighting and backstage coordination helped bring the performance to life.

Capturing the event behind the lens were Commercial Photography students Michael Dancause Jr., Ryan Gaona, Kendra Oyervides, and Elizabeth Pardo, ensuring these memorable moments were beautifully preserved.

With passion, creativity, and community spirit on full display, VMT once again proved why it stands as a pillar of cultural pride and artistic achievement.
