Congratulations to our talented VMT student, Gabriel Lerma, on winning the prestigious Congressional Art Competition!
Sponsored by the Congressional Institute, this nationwide high school visual art competition highlights and encourages artistic talent across the country and within each congressional district. Gabriel was recognized for his outstanding achievement by Representative Henry Cuellar of District 28.
As part of this incredible honor, Gabriel's artwork will be
proudly displayed for one year at the U.S. Capitol, and he will be celebrated at the annual awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
A huge round of applause to Gabriel and his dedicated art teacher, Mrs. Berrios, for this remarkable accomplishment!
