This month, the VMT music department celebrated remarkable achievements as 39 talented band students from Laredo Independent School District (LISD) earned placements in the prestigious TMEA All-Region Band. Their success highlights the dedication and hard work of these young musicians who represented their school with pride and excellence.
Following their impressive performances, all 39 students participated in the highly anticipated All-Region Band Concert and Clinic, where they showcased their skills alongside the region's top talent.
In an unprecedented accomplishment, VMT also set a new record with 22 students qualifying for the next stage of competition—the All-Area Band Auditions in January.
