Welcome

Principal's Message

Dear Martin High School Families, Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I am excited to begin another year with our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive community. This school year promises to bring new opportunities for learning, growth, and success, and I look forward to seeing all that our Martin Tigers will accomplish. We are proud to share that Martin High School is an A-rated campus with seven distinctions from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and families, and we are committed to building on this success in the year ahead. To help us prepare for a strong start, please take note of our Registration/Schedule Pick-Up dates: August 4 – Seniors August 5 – Juniors August 7 – Sophomores August 8 – Freshmen Schedule pick-up will take place in the Batey Gym from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., break for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., and resume from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The following items are required for schedule pick-up: A copy of the parent’s ID Proof of residency (a current bill if your address has changed) Updated Power of Attorney, Host Letter, or Transfer LISD forms, if applicable One parent per student, please School devices will also be issued at this time. If a student has technology assigned from another campus, their record must be cleared with that campus before a new device can be issued. If you have a device from another school at home, you may bring it to us during registration, and we will assist you here. We also look forward to welcoming our incoming freshmen at Fish Camp on August 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Flores Gym. This event is an excellent opportunity for our newest Tigers to meet their classmates and become familiar with their new school. Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we will make the 2025–2026 school year an outstanding one. With Tiger Pride, Mario Mireles
