Online registration is now open for all students in pre-kinder through 12th grade who would like to attend any school in the Laredo Independent School District for the 2026-2027 school year. LISD is preparing for the excitement of a new school year with a Registration Fair for new and returning students.
The fair will be held on Monday, May 11, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the LISD Performing Arts Complex at 2400 San Bernardo Ave. The fair will provide LISD parents and students with online registration and essential back to school information. In addition, LISD Health Services Department, Fine Arts Department, CCMR Department, Migrant Department and Early Childhood Departments will also be on hand to provide an array of educational information.
If you have more than one child attending LISD schools, you will be able to register them all at the same time. Should you need any assistance to register your children online or do not have access to a computer, trained staff will be available to assist any parent who needs extra support with the registration process.
Online registration must be completed for each student in the district, whether new or returning. The registration process allows you to verify that the information the district has on file is accurate. Only the parent/guardians in the student's primary family will have access to online registration. The student's primary family is the one in which the student primarily resides and to whom the student's residency address was assigned. By enrolling online, parents will have access to their children’s grades, progress reports, attendance, and assignments throughout the school year.
Students new to the district must provide proper residency documentation for registration purposes including the following documents:
Proof of residency/address (utility bills for gas, water, electricity...)
Parent Identification (Texas ID or Drivers’ License)
Student birth certificate
Immunization records (most recent)
Last report card/transcript (from previous school attended)
Proof of guardianship (if applicable)
All returning and new Laredo ISD students are eligible to participate in the Registration Fair. Please join LISD for an evening of educational information and family fun. The first day of classes for all students attending LISD schools is Monday, August 10.
