Hello, Bruni Family!
My name is Marilyn Diaz de Leon, and I am so excited and honored to join Bruni Elementary as your new school counselor!
I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from Texas A&M International University and my master's degree in School Counseling. Before transitioning into the counseling role, I had the privilege of spending several wonderful years in the classroom with United ISD, teaching both 1st and 5th grade. My experiences as an elementary educator deepened my passion for supporting students and strengthened my belief that their academic success is closely connected to their social and emotional well-being.
As your school counselor, I am committed to advocating for our students and providing them with the support and guidance they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our students, families, and staff and working together to make this a successful and memorable school year!
